WHAT IS VERMICOMPOST?
Vermicompost is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer produced through the digestion of biodegradable waste by earthworms. This natural process transforms agricultural residues, kitchen scraps, market waste, livestock waste, and agro-industry by-products into high-quality compost that enhances soil health and fertility.
WHY TEST VERMICOMPOST?
Vermicompost is valued for its superior nutrient content and microbial richness. It typically contains 1.5%–2.2% Nitrogen (N), 1.8%–2.2% Phosphorus (P), and 1.0%–1.5% Potassium (K), along with essential micronutrients like Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphur, Zinc, Sodium, and Iron. Testing ensures the compost meets quality standards and regulatory requirements, confirming its effectiveness and safety for agricultural use.
